Nature excursion with wine tasting

This nature excursion will take you on a walking tour of the forest, where you will hear stories of the Finnish drinking habits of times gone by, how people made moonshine, the temperance movement, Prohibition, and, of course, Nestori.

And then we will reach Nestori’s speakeasy. There are no signs leading there, but there is a single, distinctive tree that few people know about.

At the speakeasy, you will experience flavour sensations crafted by Lappeenranta rotisseur and wine importer Tuomo Puhakainen together with our wilderness chef Hanna Pulkkinen. You will have 3 different wines to taste, each served with a savoury bite to accompany it.
